The vision began when seeing that the local community who loved and adored live music were never able to hear it.
We offered to perform the music we love (country/rock'n roll) and out of the blue, Cactus Rose was created.
Finding musicians was the next part of the journey. Now Cactus Rose has an entertainment model where musicians that join us for paid gigs have us return the music to communities in need, no charge.
We know that music plays an integral part in healing of the mind, body and soul and it is through this connection we are able to provide healing at no cost to communities in need.
Basically,
GET PAID, GIVE BACK!
We are simply vibrations at particular frequencies, and when music is played or heard at these frequencies, it stimulates the mind-body connection and promotes healing. Numerous studies demonstrate that listening to music induces euphoria, stimulates the release of endorphins such as cortisol and dopamine and has a calming, healing effect whilst activating neural connections.
Several communities including but not limited to aged care love music because it takes them back down memory lane. It makes them feel good.
The radio is great, but live music is even better. The interaction and energy from the musicians themselves brings a smile to their dial and an feeling of happiness in their heart.
Are you the community we give back to? Please email us and let us know all about you.
